Haleem is Lahore's favourite dish and is extremely popular for special occasions and Ramazan. It is believed to have originated from the middle east and the original name was Harees. It came to the subcontinent in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. It is rich in food value and has abundance of layers, flavours and textures to appreciate. It is loved by all our friends and family in the UK and Pakistan. It takes a day's preparation before this yummy Haleem can be enjoyed. We hope you will try it.
